Workshop Flyer

Chemical reaction engineering is the interface between molecular and process relevant aspects of chemical reactions. The resource and energy efficient control of chemical processes is of enormous economic and ecologic importance, and requires a sound understanding of kinetics and thermodynamics to realize optimized chemical processes under highest standards with respect to yield, throughput and safety.

This international conference addresses researchers in the field of kinetic reaction modeling, experimental investigation of complex reaction systems and chemical engineering, using mathematic methods and models for relevant chemical and biochemical processes. The main goal of this Workshop is to bring together mathematicians, chemical engineers and chemists to outline highly topical mathematical approaches to problems in chemical kinetics and engineering.

The 3-day program will include sessions with oral presentations and 'round table' discussion on selected topics continuing the tradition of previous MaCKiE Workshops.
